참 잘오셨습니다!
믿음, 소망, 사랑이 성장하고 성숙해가는 사보이 모퉁이돌 교회에 오신 여러분들을 환영합니다.

사보이 모퉁이돌 교회는 일리노이 대학교 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) 가 있는 어바나-샴페인과 사보이 지역에 위치한 한인 교회입니다.

​하나님은 지역 교회의 영적 성숙을 그 지체들에 의해 표현되고 반영되는 믿음, 소망, 사랑의 정도로 측정하십니다. 사도행전 2장 47절을 보면 초대 교회는 세상에 칭찬을 받고 있습니다. 그랬더니 주께서 구원받는 사람을 날마다 더하게 하셨더라고 말씀하십니다. 이 하나님의 말씀에 비추어보면 주님의 몸인 우리(교회)가 어떻게 해야하는지 명확하게 보여주고 계십니다.

세상은 초대 교회 성도들의 모습을 지켜보았습니다. (행 2:43-47)그들이 함께 먹고, 서로를 위해 기도하며, 서로 물질적인 소유를 나누고, 하나님을 찬양하는 것을 보고서 깊은 인상을 받았습니다. 그들이 보여준 그리스도를 닮은 생활 방식과 서로를 향한 사랑은 기꺼이 그들에게 귀를 기울이고자 했던 사람들에게 복음을 나눌 수 있도록 다리를 놓아주었습니다. 너무나 아름답고 멋진 모습입니다.

사보이 모퉁이돌 교회는 바로 그러한 교회가 되기를 기도합니다. 서로 사랑하고 하나님의 말씀에 순종하는 교회 그리하여 온 세상에 그리스도의 사랑을 전하는 교회, 사보이 모퉁이돌 교회는 바로 그러한 하나님이 찾으시는 교회가 되도록 기도합니다. 이러한 행복한 교회를 세워가는데 여러분을 초대합니다.

It's a pleasure to see you here!

Welcome to Savoy Cornerstone Church, where faith, hope, and love grow and mature. God measures the spiritual maturity of the local church to the degree of faith, hope, and love expressed and reflected by its members. In Acts 2:47, the first church was praised by the world. The LORD says that he added to their number daily those who were being saved. In light of God's word, it clearly shows what we (the church), the body of the Lord, should do. 

The world watched the image of the first church members. I was impressed to see them eat together, pray for each other, share material possessions with each other, and praise God. Their Christ-like lifestyle and love for each other gave them a bridge to share the gospel to those who were willing to listen. It's so beautiful and wonderful.

The Savoy Cornerstone Church prays to be that kind of church. A church that loves each other (John 13:34-35) and obeys the word of God, a church that conveys the love of Christ to the world, Savoy Cornerstone prays to be that church that God is looking for. We invite you to build such a church.
